Michelle Landefeld - Position Title
Michelle Landefeld is a married mother of four special needs children. She grew up in Colorado, traveled the world while in the military, and now calls Texas home.
She has undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice, she has a Masters degree in Psychology, and is a certified Healthy Relationships Advocate.
Michelle is a disabled Army War Veteran who served 6 ½ years active duty and got out as a Staff Sergeant in 2010. She has advocated for numerous Veterans and disabled individuals on where to find needed services. Additionally, Michelle has trained 9 dogs per A.D.A regulations for Medical Alert Service.
Michelle is a survivor of egregious child abuse, date rape, and domestic violance. As a child she passed through the doors of no less than 32 foster care facilities, before finally being adopted at the age of 6. She is a survivor who continues to battle a terminal illness from her deployment on the Kuwait/Iraq border in December 2007.
Michelle has led a life that has left numerous scars, both physical and psychological on her. However, she endures, thrives, and has never turned from a call for help. Michelle’s life has helped forge her into someone who is unapologetically herself. Her experience, knowledge and compassion make her a safe person to talk to and an unjudging shoulder to lean on. "
